ABOUT BARBICAN
At BARBICAN SYSTEMS we provide our government customers with a full range of products and services associated with the physical, “hard” security of buildings andproperty, plus specialized threat response services. In addition, we provide a variety of development capabilities including environmental offset credits, clearing & grubbing and soil stabilization, plus design and construction of data centers, solar panel installations and more. We hold all the requisite certifications for Government work and GSA requirements, and have been prequalified by the rigorous Virginia Department of Transportation certification requirements since 2002 for all services to State and Federal government.
BARBICAN SYSTEMS is a subsidiary of SFC, Inc., (Security Fencing Company), and was formed specifically to meet the needs of government contractors requiring qualified vendors pursuant to State and Federal buying regulations. The history of Barbican is the history of SFC, Inc.
ABOUT SFC, INC.
The Security Fencing Company (SFC), Inc., began in Newport News, Virginia in 1987, performing municipal and regional work. In the 30 years since, SFC has cultivated a broad range of capabilities and services in commercial development, construction, maintenance and security, and has completed projects across the United States.
To date, the company has performed extensive work in both the private and public sectors. Clientele includes local, State and Federal government agencies, Starbucks, USPS, FEDEX, hotels, multiple hospitals, military bases, universities, corporate campuses, and much more.
