Orlandus A. Branch

 

As President of both Barbican Systems and Security Fencing Company, Mr. Branch brings a unique blend of leadership, vision and experience. While serving as Team Leader for Philip Morris manufacturing for many years, Orlandus made great strides in increasing productivity, reducing waste, improving quality and reducing grievances to levels never achieved prior. Central to his success was, and still is, his commitment to cultivating excellence in each individual, culminating in a strong team ethic. With individual accountability and quality assurance as the hallmarks of his leadership, those skills honed at the Fortune 500 level have propelled SFC/Barbican to new heights of project completion and customer service. After being founded by his father and a family friend in 1987 Orlandus became President in 2008.


Following his time with Philip Morris and prior to joining SFC, Orlandus went on to hold executive leadership roles in multiple organizations, in each case demonstrating his ability to improve efficiency, reduce cost, streamline organizations and improve morale. Across his career he has created, developed and expanded dozens of enterprises that each achieved $5 million to $100 million in net profits.


In his mission of excellence on the job, Orlandus advocates for a “closest to and most knowledgeable decision-making tree”. This employee empowerment philosophy leads to a more responsive, customer-focused organization that is streamlined in its execution of projects, and is more attentive to customer needs, especially through the inevitable changes and unexpected challenges of detailed projects.
