LEADERSHIP PROFILES

William "Beau" White

Prior to joining Barbican Systems, Mr. White distinguished himself over a twenty-two-year career with GSA, working in the Public Buildings Service, the Federal Acquisition Service and Technology Transformation Service. His accomplishments include:


  • Ten years providing discrete planning, logistical and operational support to 14 federal agencies and DoD for over a dozen national security missions.
  • Represented GSA in high level briefings and planning meetings involving senior representatives from the White House, Secret Service, FBI, State Department, US Marshals, US Park Police, and DoD.
  • Saved DoD over $200 million utilizing GSA Blanket Purchase Agreements and GSA’s Surplus Real Property Program.
  • Analyzed, evaluated impacts and published the GSA Federal Acquisition Regulations in the Federal Register for federal government-wide procurement and management of computers and communications equipment and services.
  • Represented GSA on the interagency legislative task force creating the Toxic Substances Control Act of 1976 and wrote sections of the Act relevant to GSA operations.
  • As an Environmental Protection Specialist, he reviewed GSA Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) for regulatory compliance and published a management guide for preparing EIS.


Beau received a B.A. in English and Psychology from the University of South Carolina and is a CDC certified computer programmer/systems analyst. Post graduate training included communications networks design and management, business copywriting, marketing, and a master’s level education in commercial multi-family real estate investing.


His broad experience coordinating complex national events security support is unique. His additional skills and experience in construction, contracting, property management, communications, and marketing make Beau a valuable member of the Barbican Systems team.
